  • Identify delays or bottlenecks and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
  • Verify that authorized repairs have been completed before closing internal repair orders.
  • Review repair orders for accuracy, including labor operations, parts, documentation, and appropriate internal charges.
  • Ensure internal repair orders contain complete and accurate documentation.
  • Assist with coordinating outside vendor work when necessary.
  • Track vehicles sent to outside vendors and follow up to ensure timely completion and return.
  • Coordinate vehicle movement as necessary between departments and designated repair or reconditioning areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle status, repair progress, and completed work.
  • Work closely with technicians and shop leadership to help maintain an efficient workflow.

  • Coordinate required parts and outside vendor services.
  • Monitor vehicles that are waiting for parts or additional work.
  • Communicate vehicle status and anticipated completion timelines.
  • Help minimize unnecessary reconditioning delays.
  • Ensure completed vehicles are properly documented and released back to the appropriate department.

The goal is to maintain an organized and efficient process so inventory can be safely prepared and made available for sale without unnecessary delays.
