About the Role

We are rapidly scaling our operations and hiring a large number of players in our gaming studio in Prague. To support our growth, we are looking for a proactive, hands-on HR Generalist & Office Coordinator who will be the heartbeat of our office.

In this role, you will split your focus between driving our recruitment efforts as we scale, handling daily HR generalist administration, and ensuring our Prague studio runs seamlessly day-to-day. You will act as the right hand to the Studio Manager—handling recruitment and onboarding, maintaining compliant HR admin, keeping the studio fully stocked, and organizing memorable team events and teambuildings.

This is an on-site, studio-based role in Prague. We need someone who loves being in the middle of the action, thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, and enjoys a mix of people operations, recruitment, and hands-on office coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Scaling the Team: Drive full-cycle recruitment for studio roles to keep up with our fast growth.
  • Sourcing & Pipeline: Actively post job openings, manage candidate pipelines in our ATS (Lever), and source top talent.
  • Candidate Experience: Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and ensure a smooth, professional, and welcoming hiring experience.
  • Onboarding Logistics: Lead practical onboarding (welcome day, studio tours, etc.)

2. HR Generalist Admin & Local Compliance

  • Documentation & Contracts: Prepare contracts, addendums, and maintain accurate records in compliance with Czech labor law.
  • Work with our HRIS (Sloneek): Maintain the HR system, update it, upload the new contracts and keep it up to date.

3. Studio Operations & Office Support

  • Office & Supplies Management: Ensure the studio is always stocked (coffee, office supplies) and fully functional from an operational standpoint.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and resolve facility or operational issues around the studio.

4. Culture, Teambuilding & Studio Manager Support

  • Events & Teambuilding: Partner closely with the Studio Manager to plan, organize, and execute team events and team buildings.
  • Studio Atmosphere: Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive community atmosphere for the local team.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide operational and administrative assistance to the Studio Manager as needed.

Requirements

  • Language Skills: Native/Fluent Czech (essential for local labor law, contracts, and vendor management) and Fluent English (required for internal global communication).
  • Location: Based in Prague with presence at the studio.
  • Experience: experience in an HR Generalist, Recruitment, or HR & Office Coordinator role. Proven experience with recruiting/sourcing is key.
  • Industry Context (Plus): Previous experience in gaming, esports, media, or creative studio environments is a strong advantage.
  • Strong proficiency with G-Suite/Google Workspace and experience using ATS and HR software.
