Responsibilities
- Greet customers in the showroom and on the dealership lot while providing an outstanding first impression
- Build relationships with customers and identify their vehicle needs through a consultative sales approach
- Demonstrate new and pre-owned Chevrolet, Buick, and Toyota vehicles and explain features, technology, safety systems, and financing options
- Conduct professional vehicle walkarounds and test drives
- Assist customers throughout the entire vehicle purchasing process
- Follow up with internet leads, phone inquiries, referrals, and previous customers
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer communication and sales activities
- Maintain expert knowledge of vehicle inventory, incentives, financing programs, and manufacturer promotions
- Work closely with the Finance and Sales Management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Meet and exceed individual sales, customer satisfaction, and dealership performance goals
- Build lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is a plus but not required
- Experience in retail sales, hospitality, restaurants, customer service, or commission sales is highly encouraged
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and competitive drive
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable learning new technology and CRM software
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
