Recreation Attendant Overview Responsible for leading, directing and controlling children while at Kids Camp. Responsabilities
Responsible for maintaining a safe environment for the children involved in Kids Camp Responsible for carrying out the proper sign-in and sign-out procedures. Responsible for helping the children carry out the day's activities and crafts. Before the day begins, you will need to understand your role in the day's activities. Energetically involved in the camp's activities. Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance. Enthusiastically greet and converse with guests Maintain clear communication with essential departments Actively participate in the assurance of the safety and fun of all programs Assist with general Resort duties as assigned Treat everyone, managers, associates and guests with courtesy and respect at all times Assist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment (sweeping, mopping, picking up, organizing and keeping track of inventory) Cross utilize in all areas of recreation when scheduled to do so Complete daily checklists in their entirety Properly complete recreation agreements as needed using a hose, rinse off the deck space daily Monitor the cleanliness of the deck space Organize chairs in an orderly fashion Maintain the lounge chairs with weekly cleaning Maintain the equipment used to clean the deck Respectfully assist guests Collect deck litter and remove full trash bins Perform other duties as assigned Attend all required safety training
Qualifications
Must have excellent customer service skills Ability to work with guests of all ages Previous child care experience preferred CPR/First Aid/AED holder preferred,or ability to obtain certification Must have flexible schedule, work weekends and holidays Trust Line certification preferred Prior experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outside in extreme weather conditions and around pool Stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. (Required for client site tours, event days, etc.) Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
