Opal Collection is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As Executive Chef, you will play a key role in shaping our culinary direction, leading kitchen operations, inspiring your team, and delivering exceptional cuisine that reflects the quality and standards of our resort.

Must be willing to relocate to Naples, Clearwater and/or Sarasota.

What You'll Do As An Executive Chef

  • Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in every dish served.
  • Create innovative menus and develop culinary offerings that enhance the guest dining experience.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate kitchen associates while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Work hands on with the team.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Monitor kitchen performance, food costs, inventory, and operational efficiency.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement within the culinary department.
  • Stay relevant to the current culinary landscape and trends.
  • Work closely with regional leaders and work in a corporate environment.

What We're Looking For In An Executive Chef

  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership position.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated commitment to team development.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and a variety of cuisines.
  • Passion for creating exceptional food and delivering memorable guest experiences.
