About the Role: We're looking for a caring and community-minded Bus Driver to join our team at Bella Vista Gardens Care Community. In this rewarding role, you'll help residents stay connected to their community by providing safe, reliable transport to outings, appointments and lifestyle activities, while supporting meaningful experiences that enhance wellbeing and quality of life. What You'll Do:
Safely transport residents to appointments, community outings and lifestyle activities Assist residents on and off the bus, including the safe handling and securing of wheelchairs Support lifestyle programs and outdoor activities that promote resident wellbeing and engagement Build positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers and the wider community Conduct vehicle safety inspections and pre-start checks, reporting any maintenance requirements Ensure compliance with all road rules, passenger safety requirements and infection control practices Provide a friendly, professional and engaging experience that reflects Opal's values

What You'll Need:
A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing quality of life Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills A current passenger bus licence (or equivalent licence required in your state) Current First Aid and CPR certification Previous bus or passenger transport driving experience (preferred) Strong time management and organisational skills A commitment to maintaining a safe driving record and zero BAC while on duty Confidence working as part of a team and supporting resident lifestyle programs Willingness to complete: Pre-employment medical, Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
