Join our team in Boston with the opportunity for a combination of in-office and work-from-home days. Your specific schedule will depend on your experience and ability to work independently.

Note

We are looking for candidates with 1+ years of business or commercial litigation paralegal experience. Strong discovery, legal drafting, organization, and proofreading skills are essential. Familiarity with Massachusetts litigation procedures, including Rule 9A, is important.

Job Description

As our Commercial Litigation Paralegal, you'll work closely with attorneys and contribute to cases from discovery through resolution.

  • Support attorneys in complex business and commercial litigation matters.
  • Draft and prepare interrogatories, document requests, discovery responses, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with legal research, Bluebook citation checking, document review, and proofreading.
  • Organize case files, manage discovery materials, and track important deadlines.
  • Assist with Massachusetts Rule 9A motion packages and court filings.
  • Prepare clients, exhibits, and case materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and other parties to keep cases progressing efficiently.
  • Use legal technology and document management systems to maintain accurate, organized records.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of business, commercial, or closely related complex civil litigation paralegal experience.
  • Experience preparing discovery requests, responses, and litigation documents.
  • Familiarity with Massachusetts civil litigation procedures and Rule 9A.
  • Strong legal writing, proofreading, research, and Bluebook citation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Clio, and litigation document management or e-discovery platforms.
  • Ability to learn and use legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.
