Location

This is an on-site, field-service position based in Independence, OH. You'll have the opportunity to work with industrial and commercial boiler systems while supporting customers throughout the service area.

Note

Candidates must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience servicing or repairing industrial or commercial boilers. Experience with combustion troubleshooting, boiler maintenance, and mechanical or electrical diagnostics is important for success in this role.

Job Description

  • Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial boiler systems.
  • Diagnose combustion, electrical, and mechanical problems to restore equipment performance.
  • Use combustion analyzers to tune burners and adjust boiler firing curves.
  • Open and close boilers for annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot boiler feedwater pumps and related equipment.
  • Inspect burners, controls, and boiler components to identify performance issues.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and customers to complete repairs safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience servicing or repairing industrial or commercial boilers.
  • Experience troubleshooting boiler combustion or electrical systems.
  • Ability to use a combustion analyzer for burner tuning and firing adjustments.
  • Experience opening and closing boilers for inspections and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with boiler feedwater pumps and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to safety.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a technical service team.
  • Experience with industrial burner controls or Cleaver-Brooks equipment is a plus.
