Location

Note

Candidates must hold an active Florida Bar license and have at least 4 years of overall attorney experience, including 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience. Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

  • Manage personal injury litigation cases from filing through settlement or trial preparation.
  • Develop case strategies, evaluate liability and damages, and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other essential legal documents.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, participate in hearings, and handle discovery matters.
  • Negotiate settlements and work toward favorable outcomes for injured clients.
  • Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and fellow attorneys to move cases forward efficiently.
  • Maintain strong client communication and provide compassionate, responsive legal guidance.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
  • 4+ years of experience practicing law.
  • 1+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Experience with civil litigation procedures, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
  • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and case management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple litigation matters.
  • Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation and courtroom experience preferred.
