We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onshore Renewables Commissioning Engineer to join our team at a confidential company. As an Onshore Renewables Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of onshore renewable energy projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure that all systems are installed and operational according to project specifications and industry standards. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning process for onshore renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and hydroelectric systems
  • Develop commissioning plans and procedures, and ensure they are followed by the project team
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure timely and efficient completion of commissioning activities
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify the functionality and performance of all systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the commissioning process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all commissioning activities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project team members
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met and any concerns or issues are addressed promptly
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to onshore renewable energy systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning onshore renewable energy projects
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems and associated equipment
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as IEEE, IEC, and NEC
  • Experience with commissioning software and tools
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
