Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled 2D/3D Animator to join our team. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of animation principles, motion design, and storytelling to create compelling animations for marketing, product showcases, internal demonstrations, and entertainment. You will be responsible for bringing ideas to life, ensuring a smooth animation workflow, and collaborating with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality visual content that aligns with our brand and project objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept Development: Work closely with designers and creative teams to develop storyboards, style frames, and animatics that establish a strong narrative and visual direction.
  • 2D Animation: Create fluid, high-quality frame-by-frame or rig-based animations for marketing campaigns, product demos, and digital content.
  • 3D Animation: Model, rig, and animate characters, objects, and environments, ensuring realistic or stylized motion based on project needs.
  • Motion Graphics: Design and animate dynamic motion graphics, visual effects (VFX), and transitions to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Asset Production & Optimization: Create and optimize textures, shaders, lighting, and rendering for polished, high-performance animation outputs.
  • Collaboration & Feedback Integration: Work closely with designers, video editors, and marketing teams to align animations with brand identity and messaging.
  • Pipeline & Workflow Management: Utilize industry-standard software, best practices, and rendering techniques to ensure efficient production workflows and high-quality outputs.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with emerging animation trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the quality of animations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in 2D/3D animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Spine, Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, Houdini, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation and the ability to apply them to both 2D and 3D work.
  • Ability to create both stylized and realistic animations with an emphasis on fluidity, physics, and storytelling.
  • Experience in character rigging, modeling, texturing, and rendering for animation.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and ability to create dynamic visuals with typography, particle effects, and compositing.
  • Experience with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity) is a plus for interactive and real-time animation. • Strong eye for composition, pacing, and cinematography.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing creative requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, working effectively with designers, marketers, and clients.

Portfolio Requirement:

Applicants must submit a portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant 2D/3D animation work, highlighting:

  • Storytelling & character animation.
  • Motion graphics and VFX integration.
  • 3D modeling, rigging, and animation samples.
  • Any interactive or real-time animation projects (if applicable).
