Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate or construction industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Core responsibilities:

  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and expense tracking.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • Invoice Management: Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, including recording payroll expenses and handling related deductions.
  • Project Cost Tracking: Monitor and track project-related expenses, including construction costs, vendor payments, and other project-related financial activities.
  • Budget Monitoring: Assist in preparing budgets for projects and track spending against budgeted amounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, highlighting key financial insights and trends.
