  • 2.5+ years proven experience in a marketing or SEO role.
  • Experience with SEO - Basic knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research, content optimization, and link-building strategies.
  • Proficiency in WordPress Ability to update, format, and optimize blog content within WordPress, ensuring SEO and UX best practices.
  • Strong Blog Writing Skills Ability to create engaging, well-structured, and SEO-friendly blog content tailored to target audiences.
  • Familiarity with Digital Marketing Tools Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs), and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Basic Graphic & Video Editing Comfortable with simple graphic design and video editing tools to enhance blog posts and promotional content.
  • Organizational & Time-Management Skills Capable of managing editorial calendars, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a consistent blog publishing schedule.
  • Adaptability & Initiative Willingness to research new industry trends, generate creative blog ideas, and contribute to broader content marketing effort. Experience with other forms of digital marketing - namely email marketing and PPC Advertising.

Core responsibilities:

  • SEO Optimization Conduct keyword research, optimize website content, and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings.
  • WordPress Blog Management Create, edit, and publish blog posts in WordPress, ensuring SEO best practices, proper formatting, and brand consistency.
  • Performance Tracking & Analysis Monitor blog and website performance metrics using Google Analytics and other tools, providing insights for optimization.
  • Social Media Engagement Promote blog content on social media, engage with audiences, and track engagement to enhance reach and visibility.
  • Market Research Conduct competitor analysis and industry research to identify trending topics, audience interests, and opportunities for blog content strategy.
  • Email Marketing - assist with implementing email marketing tools, and creating and scheduling content to be sent to subscribers. PPC Advertising - assist with creating, targeting, and monitoring advertisements through Google and Meta Ads.
