The posting

This is a 12 - month contract with our client in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning & Solution Architecture: Design, build, and support enterprise SAC planning, forecasting, budgeting, and dashboard solutions. Implement planning models, versions, allocations, data actions, and advanced formulas.
  • Data Modelling & Integrations: Model and optimize data structures for performance and scalability. Integrate SAC with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud, and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics: Leverage Just Ask, Joule, and AI-assisted capabilities to optimize natural language queries, search, and user insights.
  • Reporting & Modernization: Develop SAC Stories, Analytic Applications, and Analysis for Office (AFO) workbooks. Lead migration/modernization initiatives from legacy SAP BI, BOBJ, and AFO environments.
  • Technical Leadership & Governance: Act as a technical integration specialist, consult on SAC best practices, maintain technical documentation, and mentor team members across the SAP analytics landscape.
  • Operations & Delivery: Execute testing, deployment, risk management, and root-cause resolution for production incidents within agreed SLAs under minimal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications

  • Certification: Certified SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Professional.
  • Core SAC Expertise: Proven track record in SAC Planning and Forecasting end-to-end implementations.
  • Development & Scripting: Strong hands-on experience developing SAC Stories, Analytic Applications, Models, Advanced Formulas, Data Actions, and Scripting in Optimized Stories.
  • Architecture & Connectivity: Experience utilizing Virtual Data Models / Virtual Data Sources and live connectivity architectures.
  • AI & Next-Gen Analytics: Hands-on experience with Just Ask, Joule, and AI-driven analytics functionality within SAC.
  • Integrations: Solid understanding of SAC integration with BW/4HANA, Analysis for Microsoft Office (AFO), and S/4HANA environments.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud (BDC), or SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Exposure to SAP BW/4HANA and predictive analytics / machine learning capabilities within SAP.
