Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to join our team! We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming environment for our residents, families, visitors, and staff.

This is a part-time opportunity with required availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and Thursday PM shift.

Position Details

  • Position: Receptionist
  • Status: Part-Time
  • Schedule: Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays
  • Shift: Thursday PM shift; Saturday and Sunday coverage
  • Pay Rate: $20.00–$22.00 per hour
  • Location: Rossmoor Post Acute

Please note: Availability to work all three required days (Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) is a must!

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Assist visitors with check-in and facility procedures.
  • Respond to general inquiries and direct questions to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and other communications.
  • Assist with basic administrative and clerical duties.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle information appropriately.
  • Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic computer and office skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
  • Must be available Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
  • Previous healthcare or skilled nursing experience is a plus.
