  • Review inventory levels, sales trends, forecasts, and other relevant data to determine when and how much to order.
  • Develop and maintain brand-level forecasts to support purchasing and inventory planning decisions.
  • Proactively monitor inventory and identify potential stockouts, overstock situations, or ordering gaps.
  • Resolve in-stock requests from Inventory Managers by investigating issues and taking appropriate action to ensure product availability.
  • Review and validate purchase orders to identify and correct quantity, SKU, vendor, or other data discrepancies.
  • Ensure purchase orders and order-related information remain accurate and up to date across the relevant systems and channels.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports related to purchase orders, inventory, ordering activity, forecasts, and in-stock performance.
  • Use tools such as Shelf, Excel, Tableau, Snowflake,Predict, and other forecasting tools to manage workflows, analyze data, and support daily decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Inventory Managers and cross-functional teams to communicate ordering updates, resolve issues, and maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Prioritize daily tasks and manage multiple brands, requests, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively follow up on open items to ensure timely resolution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience in inventory management, purchase order processing, purchasing, supply chain, or a similar operational role is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large data sets, reporting, and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of inventory planning, purchase orders, forecasting, and ordering processes.
  • Familiarity with Shelf, Tableau, Snowflake, Predict or similar business/data tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Inventory Managers and team members.

Key Competencies

  • Ownership: Takes responsibility for assigned brands, orders, and deliverables.
  • Analytical Thinking: Uses data, trends, and forecasts to support ordering and inventory decisions.
  • Prioritization: Effectively manages multiple brands, requests, deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identifies issues, investigates root causes, and drives timely resolution.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy across purchase orders, inventory data, forecasts, and reports.
  • Proactive Approach: Anticipates inventory and ordering issues rather than waiting for them to occur.

  • Adaptability: Learns new systems, processes, and tools quickly and adapts to evolving business requirements.

About the Role

The In-Stock Specialist I/II plays a critical role in supporting the US Inventory Management team by ensuring the right products are ordered at the right time and in the right quantities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
