The posting

Job Title: Sales Executive, Printers and Supplies On Target Earnings (OTE): $130,000-$160,000 annually JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE Peak Technologies is seeking an experienced Label and Print Supplies Sales Executive with a proven record of successfully selling labels, thermal-transfer ribbons, print media, and related consumables. This individual-contributor role focuses on developing new business, winning new accounts, and growing profitable, recurring supply revenue. The successful candidate will be an aggressive, disciplined prospector who understands customers’ labeling applications and can recommend the right products for their operational needs. The territory offers significant opportunity for development, with limited existing accounts to support initial growth. Candidates should be comfortable building a pipeline and customer base rather than relying primarily on an established book of business. The position also supports other Peak Account Managers in identifying, developing, and closing label and print-supply opportunities. Printer hardware and related solutions may complement the sale, but the primary focus is labels, ribbons, media, and recurring consumables. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve revenue, gross-margin, new-account, and recurring-business targets. Identify target accounts and generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and collaboration with other Account Managers. Personally manage the sales process from prospecting and discovery through product recommendations, quotations, negotiation, closing, and ongoing account development. Understand customer labeling applications, operating environments, printer compatibility, and supply requirements to recommend appropriate labels, ribbons, and consumables. Build recurring revenue through supply agreements, repeat purchases, account expansion, and cross-selling. Retain and grow assigned accounts while developing a substantial pipeline of new business. Maintain profitable pricing and gross margins in collaboration with vendors, Sales Administration, and company leadership. Support other Account Managers with label-product expertise, customer discussions, opportunity qualification, and proposals. Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, account plans, and pipeline reporting. Work with internal teams and vendor partners to coordinate product availability, samples, customer requirements, and issue resolution. Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to expand territory coverage and product adoption. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS

Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience selling labels, print media, print supplies, or related printing solutions. Demonstrated success personally selling physical labels, thermal-transfer ribbons, and/or related print consumables is required. General technology, printer hardware, labeling software, copier, or service-contract sales experience alone does not satisfy this requirement. Proven ability to prospect independently, win new accounts, achieve sales targets, and grow recurring customer revenue. Experience owning a sales quota, territory, or book of business, with measurable sales accomplishments. Working knowledge of label materials, substrates, adhesives, ribbon selection, printer compatibility, and customer applications. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, account-development, and relationship-management skills. Ability to balance new-business development with retention and expansion of existing accounts. Understanding of pricing, gross margins, and profitable sales growth. Strong organization, follow-through, and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and training.

Experience with label converters, manufacturers, distributors, or dedicated label/consumables sales within an AIDC reseller is especially relevant. COMPENSATION

Base salary: $55,000–$75,000 annually. On-target earnings: $130,000–$160,000 annually. Final compensation and ramp arrangements will be discussed based on relevant experience, demonstrated sales results, and the agreed compensation plan. On-target earnings reflect performance against sales targets and are not guaranteed earnings.

TYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS

NEW BUSINESS: Generate qualified opportunities and acquire new label and print-supply customers. REVENUE GROWTH: Achieve territory sales targets and expand recurring consumables revenue. PROFITABILITY: Maintain gross margins and support profitable account growth. ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT: Retain customers, increase product adoption, and identify additional supply opportunities. SALES EXECUTION: Maintain a healthy pipeline, accurate forecasts, timely follow-up, and complete CRM records. COLLABORATION: Help other Account Managers develop and close label and print-supply opportunities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

English is the primary language used in daily business operations. Ability to read and interpret product specifications, quotations, procedures, and business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendor partners, and employees at all levels. Ability to explain product recommendations and commercial terms clearly in individual discussions and group presentations.

SUPERVISION

This is not a management position.

DECISION MAKING + REASONING

Take accountability for territory planning, sales execution, and business results. Identify customer needs, collect relevant information, and recommend appropriate products and solutions. Prioritize opportunities based on customer requirements, revenue potential, profitability, and likelihood of success. Use company resources and established processes to resolve customer and business issues.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate pricing, discounts, gross margins, percentages, sales growth, and progress against quotas. Ability to interpret sales reports, forecasts, and customer purchasing trends.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Customer purchasing, operations, warehouse, manufacturing, and other relevant personnel. Peak Account Managers and sales leadership. Sales Administration and customer support teams. Vendor and manufacturing partners. Peak senior management.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel. Experience using CRM systems to manage customer activity, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts. Salesforce experience is helpful.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOMMODATIONS The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform those functions.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
