ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton’s Hardware team builds the next generation of connected fitness devices while powering the continuous growth of our existing product line. Reporting directly to the Director of Mechanical Engineering, you will recruit, guide, and elevate a high-performing team of mechanical engineers.

You’ll bridge technical rigor with empathetic leadership—fostering a culture of innovation, driving best-in-class engineering standards, and collaborating across Electrical, Firmware, Quality, Operations, and Industrial Design to bring complex, high-impact products from concept to customer hands.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Recruit top engineering talent, mentor team members through 1:1s and tailored growth plans, and cultivate a performance-driven, highly collaborative culture
  • Establish robust engineering standards, refine product development workflows, and champion best practices in DFM, failure analysis, and design tools
  • Partner closely with Program Management, Quality, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing to hit roadmap milestones, resolve critical business escalations, and clear operational blockers
  • Engage with global suppliers, JDMs, and Contract Manufacturers across all phases of the product lifecycle to bring complex mechanisms to life

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 8+ years in mechanical design engineering with 2+ years leading engineering teams. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record guiding teams from concept to launch, defining design/tool release processes, and balancing competing product and technical priorities
  • Strong foundation in core manufacturing methods (injection molding, sheet metal stamping, welding, casting, machining) along with test and measurement fixturing
  • Exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA), power transmission systems (drive belts, pulleys, bearings), Process Engineering, or Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • Excellent written/spoken English with a strong knack for identifying team strengths, coaching for growth, and driving technical detail

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
