Job Description

About the role – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

Join our Change & Communication team and help people across the bank get ready for changes to the technology they use every day. Working with our Customer Platforms and Enterprise Platforms teams, you’ll shape and lead change activities across platform enhancements, releases and other technology initiatives. You’ll work out what’s changing, who’s affected and what they need—from clear communication to practical learning and support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shape and lead change activities for platform enhancements, releases and technology initiatives, helping people understand what’s changing and prepare for it.

• Make technology changes clear and relevant. Work out the impacts on people, processes and ways of working, then develop communication, engagement and learning activities that meet those needs.

• Help the business get ready. Assess impacts and readiness, address change risks, and use feedback after implementation to understand where more support is needed.

• Bring the business and people perspective into planning. Work with platform leaders, delivery teams and business stakeholders to highlight impacts, dependencies and readiness concerns early.

• Connect the dots across releases. Identify overlapping changes and competing demands on the business and tailor your approach to the impact and risk involved.

• Help improve how we deliver change. Share knowledge, coach stakeholders and develop reusable approaches, using Jira and Confluence to support collaboration and visibility.

About you:

You’re a hands-on change professional who enjoys working with technology teams and making complex changes understandable for the people affected. You build strong relationships, ask useful questions and turn what you learn into practical change activities. You know when a change needs more support—and when a simpler approach will do.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• You have demonstrated experience leading the people side of technology-enabled change, particularly ongoing platform enhancements, releases and continuous improvement in complex environments.

• At least five years’ experience in change management, including impact, stakeholder, readiness and adoption assessments.

• You can make complex technical changes easy to understand, translating them into clear business implications and practical communication, engagement and learning approaches.

• You build trusted relationships with senior leaders, platform teams, delivery teams and business stakeholders. You can facilitate conversations, provide practical advice and coaching, and share knowledge to build change capability and improve how we work.

• You have experience partnering with platform, product or delivery teams and integrating change activities into iterative delivery and governance processes. Experience with Jira and Confluence, and within financial services or other regulated environments, will be advantageous.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
