The posting

Location: BGC, Taguig

Shift pattern: Mid-shift – 4pm MNL to 1am MNL

Working Model: Onsite 5 days per week during probation, transitioning to a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) upon regularization.

We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of days being in the office and days being worked at home. Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based.

What you will be doing

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will lead a team of up to 12 Specialists who undertake a range of activities from application packaging, underwriting and mortgage completions and ensuring the efficient and high-quality processing of mortgage applications. You'll be responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), while fostering a culture of excellence in customer service.

You'll manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring expectations are met and escalations are resolved swiftly. Your leadership will drive team performance through coaching, training, and development, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

This role also involves contributing to strategic improvements, conducting audits, and collaborating with peers and senior managers across the business to deliver a seamless service proposition. You'll be a key player in shaping a high-performing, agile team culture that aligns with the firm's values.

What we are looking for

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced operations leader with a strong background in financial services and team management. You'll be passionate about customer service, skilled in stakeholder engagement, and confident in driving performance and change.

Key Requirements:

  • Mortgage and specialist lending experience (desirable)
  • Ability to identify risk and provide recommendations to mitigate
  • Proven management experience with successful team leadership
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Residential underwriting experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and influencing skills
  • Skilled in coaching and developing team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of management team
