The posting

We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist to join a Private Banking investment team, supporting the execution and management of a broad range of investment products across multiple asset classes.

The successful candidate will work closely with Private Banking Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, internal trading teams and external counterparties to ensure seamless trade execution, product onboarding and ongoing product management.

This role offers exposure to a diverse range of investment solutions, including fixed income, equities, funds, foreign exchange, interest rate products, structured products and discretionary portfolio management solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Trade Execution & Investment Solutions

  • Manage and execute investment transactions across multiple asset classes, ensuring timely, accurate and efficient execution.
  • Coordinate trade requests from Private Banking Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors.
  • Monitor trade execution, transaction status and settlement, working closely with internal operations teams.
  • Support investment idea generation, product pitches and rollouts through to trade execution.
  • Facilitate execution of financing and structured transactions, including structured repos, bond forwards and total return swaps.
  • Collaborate with internal traders on hedging solutions, execution feasibility and risk management.

Product Management & Due Diligence

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including due diligence, onboarding, implementation and ongoing monitoring.
  • Manage product and counterparty onboarding processes in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor product portfolios, including credit ratings, risk exposure and ongoing suitability.
  • Maintain product operating procedures and support the introduction of new investment solutions.

Stakeholder Management & Business Support

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors and counterparties to ensure effective execution capabilities and operational support.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to deliver investment solutions aligned with client needs and business objectives.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth trade settlement and resolution of transaction-related issues.
  • Support cross-border investment transactions, particularly across Southeast Asian markets.
  • Ensure adherence to internal risk management frameworks, operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in private banking, investment product advisory, treasury, trading, execution or investment product management.
  • Good understanding of multi-asset investment products, including fixed income, equities, funds, FX, interest rate derivatives and structured products.
  • Hands-on experience in trade execution, product onboarding and transaction lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with structured financing transactions, such as repos, bond forwards or total return swaps, would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cross-border investment transactions and regulatory considerations across Southeast Asian markets.
  • Holds the relevant certifications, including FMRP, M1A/M1B and M6A.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with English- and Mandarin-speaking internal stakeholders.
