Organizational Development Head

Location: National Capital Region Work Arrangement: Onsite Schedule: Monday to Friday

Job Summary

The Organizational Development Head will lead the organization’s organizational effectiveness and people development agenda, ensuring that talent, performance, culture, and capability initiatives are aligned with business strategy and organizational priorities.

This role will provide strategic direction across Organizational Development, Performance Management, Talent Development, Learning & Development, and Change Management. The position will partner closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to strengthen organizational capabilities, improve workforce effectiveness, develop leaders, and drive people-related transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the organization’s Organizational Development strategy aligned with business objectives and long-term workforce priorities.
  • Drive initiatives focused on organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, talent development, and leadership development.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Performance Management framework and processes.
  • Oversee talent development and succession planning initiatives to strengthen the leadership pipeline and critical talent capabilities.
  • Provide strategic direction for Learning & Development programs, ensuring alignment with identified organizational and competency gaps.
  • Lead organizational initiatives related to culture, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and capability building.
  • Partner with senior management and business leaders to identify organizational challenges and develop appropriate people and organizational solutions.
  • Lead change management and organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder alignment and adoption.
  • Develop organizational frameworks, policies, and interventions that support business growth, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Use organizational and people data, employee insights, and business metrics to identify trends, capability gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and monitor OD metrics and effectiveness measures to assess the impact of organizational development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to ensure alignment of OD initiatives with broader HR strategies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Organizational Development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic partnership.
  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor to senior leadership on organizational effectiveness, talent, performance, leadership, and people transformation.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Development, Learning & Development, HR Strategy, or related HR functions.
  • Strong experience in organizational effectiveness, Performance Management, Talent Development, and Learning & Development.
  • Proven experience leading organizational transformation and people development initiatives.
  • Preferably with experience in multi-site, fast-paced, retail, restaurant, hospitality, FMCG, or similarly operational environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute organization-wide HR and OD strategies.
  • Strong experience partnering with senior executives and business leaders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Experience in change management, culture transformation, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Strong analytical and business-oriented approach to organizational and people challenges.
  • Ability to translate business priorities into practical and scalable people and organizational solutions.

Preferred Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
