Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for achieving your group's sales targets and for the overall management and development of the Sales Engineers under your supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Target Setting

Develop operating plans and objectives aligned with the company's overall sales strategy and targets

Design and execute sales strategies aimed at hitting volume goals while keeping the department profitable

Continuously assess market conditions and adjust plans to stay ahead of targets and competition

Pricing & Bid Management

Review and evaluate selling prices to maximize contribution margins

Lead pricing strategy and proposal development to win competitive biddings

Marketing & Promotions

Oversee promotional and advertising initiatives that support your group's overall sales program

Coordinate with marketing and other relevant teams to ensure campaigns align with sales objectives

Client & Supplier Relations

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both customers and suppliers

Serve as a key point of contact for important accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business

Team Leadership & Development

Recruit and deploy enough qualified sales personnel to adequately cover existing and potential customer accounts

Ensure your sales team receives proper training and ongoing development to perform at a high level

Coach, motivate, and manage the performance of Sales Engineers reporting to you

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with finance and other departments to resolve credit and collection issues affecting your accounts

Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and after-sales support

Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Sales Manager role or equivalent leadership position
  • Sales background in water filtration, kitchen equipment, laundry machines, or similar technical/industrial products preferred
  • Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with a clear goal-oriented mindset
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a sales team to consistently meet or exceed targets
  • Solid negotiation and relationship-building skills with both clients and suppliers
  • Willing to be based in Davao
