About the Role

Hello, O&M Specialists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a part-time O&M Specialist for the 2026-2027 School Year. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by supporting learners with visual impairments through tailored instruction and individualized strategies. You’ll help create an inclusive, supportive classroom while partnering with educators, specialists, and families to ensure each student’s needs are met.

What You’ll Do

• Implement IEPs, individualized interventions, and classroom accommodations
• Build a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with school-based Exceptional Children's/Special Education teams, behavior specialists, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and team planning sessions

What We’re Looking For

• MUST HAVE Orientation and Mobility Specialist Certification
• Must be able to submit college transcripts
• School-based experience preferred, not required
