Als Data Engineer zorg je dat de datastromen achter Prijsvrij Vakanties en D-reizen elke dag betrouwbaar hun werk doen. Je beheert en verbetert onze databases, pipelines en koppelingen, bouwt nieuwe oplossingen en werkt mee aan de doorontwikkeling van ons datalandschap, onder andere met Microsoft Fabric en AI. Zo help jij het hele bedrijf slimmere keuzes te maken, waar uiteindelijk elke klant van profiteert. ✈️

Wat ga je precies doen?

  • Je beheert en verbetert onze bestaande datastromen, stored procedures en jobs;
  • Je bouwt nieuwe pipelines van bron tot bestemming;
  • Je schrijft en optimaliseert complexe SQL-queries voor analyses, rapportages en databeheer;
  • Je waarborgt de kwaliteit, betrouwbaarheid en beschikbaarheid van data binnen onze systemen;
  • Je denkt actief mee over verbeteringen in onze data- en BI-architectuur en werkwijze;
  • Je werkt samen met teamleden aan automatiseringen en andere technische en analytische projecten;
  • Je zet AI in waar het waarde toevoegt, bijvoorbeeld voor geautomatiseerde analyses en monitoring van onze processen;
  • Je ontwikkelt mee aan koppelingen en tools, ook in andere programmeertalen zoals Go.

Jij (gaat op vakantie en) neemt mee:

  • Een afgeronde wo-opleiding in een technische of analytische richting;
  • 2 tot 5 jaar werkervaring als data engineer, bij voorkeur in een commerciële organisatie;
  • Sterke kennis van SQL en relationele databases;
  • Ervaring met het bouwen én beheren van stored procedures, jobs en datastromen;
  • Ervaring met een programmeertaal, en je vindt het leuk om nieuwe talen zoals Go te leren;
  • Ervaring met Git en versiebeheer;
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en gestructureerd, en schakelt makkelijk bij ad-hoc vragen;
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
  • Je woont in de regio Den Bosch en haalt energie uit samenwerken met collega’s op kantoor.
