Prime System Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our growing technical team. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and enterprise IT environments while supporting clients across different industries.
We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to take ownership of infrastructure projects and technical challenges. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, maintain, and improve IT environments.

What You'll Be Doing
Systems Administration and Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Server environments and enterprise systems.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
- Support virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health to ensure reliability and operational efficiency.
Cloud and Microsoft Technologies
- Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft 365 services and Azure environments.
- Manage Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
- Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender and other endpoint and email security solutions.
- Support cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and Microsoft technology deployments.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing infrastructure through cloud adoption and automation.
Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices and security controls.
- Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and network security solutions.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential infrastructure and endpoint security issues.
- Ensure systems follow security standards and organizational policies.
Technical Troubleshooting and Project Delivery
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure, server, cloud, and networking issues.
- Take ownership of escalated technical issues and drive them through resolution.
- Lead or participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and modernization projects.
- Work directly with clients to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers when needed.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical knowledge base articles.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, security, and operational processes.
- Ensure projects and assigned tasks are completed within agreed timelines and requirements.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure support.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
- Solid experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access management.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and switching.
- Experience working with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, particularly with complex infrastructure issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and technical teams.
- Strong documentation skills and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and customer-specific applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and endpoint/email security technologies.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and IT automation.
- Previous experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services environment.
- Experience handling infrastructure migrations, cloud deployments, and modernization projects.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent certifications.

Work Arrangement
Location: ABDC Building, Quezon City, Philippines.
Setup: Hybrid – 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home per week.
Candidates must be willing to work onsite three days per week and be comfortable working with international clients and supporting their required schedules.
