Position: Bar Supervisor

Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team. As a leader in the hospitality industry, we are committed to providing our guests with exceptional service and creating memorable experiences. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring that all service standards are met and maintained

- Train, supervise, and schedule bar staff to ensure efficient and effective service

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Create and update cocktail menus, taking into consideration current trends and guest preferences

- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to develop and implement promotions and events to increase bar revenue

- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide training opportunities

- Monitor and control costs, including labor and inventory, to meet budgetary goals

- Act as a role model for the bar staff, demonstrating exceptional customer service and upholding company standards

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in a bar or restaurant setting

- Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktails

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proven track record of managing inventory and controlling costs

- Customer service oriented with a positive and friendly attitude

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal

- TIPS or similar certification is an asset
