Als Security Engineer (m/w/d) im Bereich Managed Services bei der PROFI AG sind Sie ein unverzichtbarer Teil unseres Security Service Centers (SSC). In einem engagierten Expertenteam setzen Sie Ihr vielseitiges Wissen in den Bereichen Sicherheit und Netzwerk optimal ein, um die IT-Umgebungen unserer Kunden zukunftssicher zu gestalten. Sie arbeiten überwiegend remote, jedoch bei Bedarf auch direkt vor Ort, um unsere Kunden (vorwiegend aus dem deutschen Mittelstand) umfassend zu unterstützen.

Was sind die Aufgaben in dieser Position?

  • Installation, Konfiguration und Administration von Security- & Netzwerk-Infrastrukturen mit den Schwerpunkten Firewall, Schwachstellen-Scan, SIEM, EDR, Remote Access-Lösungen und Switches in verschiedenen IT-Szenarien
  • Support und Troubleshooting inkl. Dokumentation im Ticketsystem (Incident-, Problem- und Change-Management)
  • Patch-, Update- und Release-Management
  • Durchführung regelmäßiger Health-Checks sowie proaktiver Security-Analysen der Kunden-IT-Infrastruktur
  • Unterstützung unseres Managed Services Teams durch die Teilnahme an der Rufbereitschaft, inkl. attraktiver Vergütung on top
  • aktive Mitwirkung an der kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung der Security- und Netzwerk Services und an teamübergreifenden Projekten

Wer passt zu uns und zu wem passen wir?

  • mehrjährige Berufserfahrung mit, u.a. in den Bereichen Firewall, SIEM-Systemen und Threat / Vulnerability Management, idealerweise mit den Produkten Checkpoint, Sophos, Extreme Networks, Huawei und Arctic Wolf
  • gutes Know-how in den gängigen IT-Security-Methoden und -prozessen, in Netzwerksicherheit und Firewalls und in On-Premise- und Cloud-Infrastrukturen
  • Erfahrung in den Bereichen Automatisierung und Scripting (Linux / Python)
  • Neugier am Umgang mit modernen Technologien und mit gängigen KI-Tools
  • gute analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten, verbunden mit einer kundenorientierten, eigenverantwortlichen Arbeitsweise und einer schnellen Auffassungsgabe für technische Zusammenhänge
  • Spaß am Arbeiten im Team
