Voor onze vestiging in Sittard zoeken wij een Mechanical Engineer. Profilplast B.V. levert slimme kunststofoplossingen voor bouw, industrie en techniek. De functie:

Ben jij technisch aangelegd, nieuwsgierig naar innovatieve materialen en klaar voor een veelzijdige functie waarin je écht het verschil maakt? Dan hebben wij dé uitdaging voor jou!

Bij Profilplast krijg je de kans om je te ontwikkelen tot specialist in industriële kunststoffen. Je hoeft nog geen kunststofexpert te zijn – wij leiden je stap voor stap op. Wat we wél zoeken: iemand met een open houding, technisch inzicht en de wil om te groeien.

Wat ga je doen?

Als (Junior) Mechanical Engineer word jij het aanspreekpunt voor technische vragen van onze klanten én collega’s. Je leert hoe je advies geeft over materiaalkeuzes, hoe je technische vraagstukken oplost en hoe je samenwerkt met onze (voornamelijk Duitse) leveranciers.

Eenmaal je opgeleid en ingewerkt bent, zijn dit je taken in een notendop:

  • Technische klantvragen begrijpen en opvolgen
  • Materiaaladvies geven (met begeleiding)
  • Ondersteunen bij toepassingsvragen en eventuele klachten
  • Samenwerken met producenten en salesafdeling
  • Kennis opdoen over kunststoftechniek, lastechnieken en toepassingen
  • Interne en externe opleidingen geven.

  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands én Duits (=een must) Engels en Frans is een pré
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een rijbewijs B
  • Kennis van 2D/3D CAD-tekeningen lezen is mooi meegenomen
  • Microsoft Teams toepassingen heb je goed onder de knie.
  • Zeer nauwkeurig, punctueel en gestructureerd kunnen werken.
  • Snel kunnen schakelen
  • Communicatief vaardig en durven vragen te stellen, zowel aan collega’s als leveranciers.
  • Flexibel en collegiaal ingesteld, bereid om waar nodig extra taken op te pakken.
