The posting

Progesys Inc. est une firme reconnue en gestion de projets et la transition optimale de ces projets de la construction à l’opération. La société est basée à Laval (Canada) depuis 2002 et a des bureaux aux États-Unis, au Moyen-Orient en Asie et en Amérique Latine.

Progesys est à la recherche d’un Directeur de la construction afin de se joindre à son équipe et de jouer un rôle clé dans la gestion et la réalisation de projets industriels complexes, de la planification jusqu’à la mise en service.

Responsabilités

  • Superviser l’ensemble des phases du projet sur le terrain : planification, exécution, suivi et clôture.
  • Organiser et animer des ateliers de constructibilité et des réunions de coordination avec les parties prenantes.
  • Élaborer des plans de projet détaillés (jalons, échéanciers, ressources) et assurer leur mise à jour.
  • Gérer les plannings de construction, analyser les écarts et proposer des ajustements pour maintenir les objectifs de délais et de budget.
  • Assurer un suivi rigoureux de l’avancement, de la qualité et des performances du projet.
  • Identifier les risques techniques ou opérationnels et proposer des mesures de mitigation adaptées.
  • Produire des rapports d’avancement clairs et structurés à destination de la direction et des parties prenantes.
  • Favoriser un climat de collaboration entre les différents intervenants du projet et assurer une communication transparente.

Qualifications et expérience

  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, mécanique dans un domaine connexe (obligatoire)
  • Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire (obligatoire)
  • Expérience sur des projets industriels lourds (ex. : acier, pétrole et gaz, mines, bâtiment, etc.)
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
  • Forte autonomie et esprit d’initiative, avec une capacité à diriger par l’exemple
  • Excellente gestion du temps et aptitude à prioriser efficacement les tâches
