Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting experienced Emergency Registered Nurses (RNs) for exciting travel contract opportunities across the Interior of beautiful British Columbia.

Title: Registered Nurse, Emergency

Location: British Columbia sites including: Kamloops, Vernon, Williams Lake, Fernie, Clearwater, Princeton, Creston, 100 Mile House

Type: Travel Contract | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

Pay Range: $54 - 67/hour,T4 or incorporated options

What You'll Do

As an Emergency Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent medical conditions. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will:

  • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
  • Deliver safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions
  • Assist with trauma, cardiac, respiratory, pediatric, and medical emergencies
  • Operate and monitor emergency equipment
  • Document patient care accurately using electronic health records
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
  • Support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
  • CTAS certification preferred
  • TNCC Certification preferred
  • ENPC Certification preferred
