Job Overview

The Accounting Officer is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial recording, month-end closing activities, and preparation of management and financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards. This role supports audit processes and collaborates with various departments to maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete monthly closing activities accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Ensure all financial transactions, costs, and journal entries are properly recorded in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, quarterly reports, and annual financial statements in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounting records and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders at Head Office and Site operations to support monthly closing processes and project-related accounting activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation to facilitate successful audit completion.
  • Maintain proper accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes and financial reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Public Accounting Firm (KAP).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Able to work independently, as part of a team and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Willing to be placed at our Head Office, Jakarta.
