Job Description

Pure Data Centres is seeking an experienced and highly organised Sales Operations Manager to support and optimise the effectiveness of our growing global sales function.

This is a pivotal role, responsible for developing and managing the systems, processes and reporting that underpin our commercial operations. Working closely with the senior sales leadership team and multiple departments across the business, the successful candidate will bring structure, visibility and consistency to our sales pipeline, account planning, stakeholder mapping and CRM management.

The role will take ownership of the CRM platform, including its implementation, ongoing development and adoption across the sales team, ensuring accurate, accessible and actionable commercial data. The Sales Operations Manager will also oversee the maintenance of the land book, support strategic account planning and provide high-quality presentations, reporting and financial analysis to support key business decisions.

This position requires an individual who is commercially astute, exceptionally organised and confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • CRM Management & Implementation: Take ownership of the CRM platform, overseeing its implementation, configuration, ongoing management and continuous improvement to ensure it supports the business's commercial objectives and sales processes.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain robust pipeline management processes, ensuring accurate forecasting, visibility of opportunities, tracking of sales activity and clear reporting on commercial progress.
  • Account Plan Management: Own and coordinate strategic account planning, ensuring key customer relationships, commercial opportunities, growth strategies and engagement plans are documented, regularly reviewed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Mapping: Take ownership of key business stakeholder mapping, maintaining a clear overview of customer organisations, decision makers, influencers and relationship networks to support strategic engagement and business development.
  • Land Book Management: Maintain and regularly update the company's land book, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on land opportunities, site status, commercial progress and associated business development activity.
  • Sales Reporting & Presentations: Produce high-quality management reports, presentations and commercial documentation, with excellent PowerPoint and PDF capabilities, to support senior leadership meetings, client presentations and strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis: Support the sales function with financial reporting, commercial analysis, pipeline valuation and forecasting, ensuring that sales opportunities are assessed with a strong understanding of their financial implications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the business, including Investment, Land, Development, Finance, Legal and Marketing, to ensure alignment of commercial priorities, accurate information sharing and effective coordination.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales operations, reporting structures, CRM utilisation and internal processes, driving greater efficiency, consistency and accountability across the commercial function.
  • Data Integrity & Governance: Establish and maintain consistent standards for CRM data, reporting and documentation, ensuring information is accurate, structured and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Business Coordination: Support the sales leadership team with the organisation and coordination of key commercial activities, ensuring priorities, actions, meetings and deliverables are effectively managed and followed through.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Enablement or similar role, ideally within data centres, technology, real estate, infrastructure or another complex B2B environment.

  • Demonstrable experience in pipeline management, sales forecasting, account planning and commercial reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, professional presentations and PDF documentation for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand commercial models, analyse pipeline performance and interpret financial information.
  • Experience in stakeholder mapping and managing complex customer account structures.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage and collaborate across multiple departments and seniority levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools.

  • Commercially Minded: A strong understanding of commercial operations, financial performance and the importance of supporting revenue generation and strategic growth.
  • Proactive & Solutions Focused: An individual who takes ownership, anticipates business requirements and actively looks for ways to improve processes and performance.
  • Excellent Communicator: Confident and articulate, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across multiple functions.
  • Analytical & Detail Oriented: Able to interpret data, identify trends and provide meaningful insights to support commercial decision-making.
  • Collaborative: A natural team player who can work effectively across departments, building strong relationships and encouraging consistency in how the business operates.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-growing, evolving international business where priorities can change and new processes and systems are continually developed.

The Opportunity:

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
