In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with production teams, front-line leaders, and plant management to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve workflow, and develop innovative solutions that enhance manufacturing performance.

From process optimization and shop floor layouts to equipment improvements and new manufacturing methods, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational efficiency, product quality, and business growth.

What You'll Do

As our Process Engineer, you'll take ownership of manufacturing improvement initiatives while partnering with team members throughout the facility.

Manufacturing Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, increase capacity, and support business growth.
  • Evaluate production workflows, conduct time studies, and identify opportunities to eliminate waste using Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Analyze manufacturing bottlenecks and resolve production and quality challenges in collaboration with Quality and Production leadership.
  • Evaluate shop floor layouts and recommend improvements to optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Design and develop fixtures, equipment, and other solutions to improve ergonomics, safety, and production performance.

Continuous Improvement & Project Leadership

  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects, including 5S, sustainability initiatives, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
  • Maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities and collaborate with operators and production teams to implement solutions.
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and manufacturing methods to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive projects from concept through implementation and measure results.

Engineering & Technical Solutions

  • Utilize CAD software to support product design, manufacturing layouts, and 2D drawing development.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to optimize product quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Support the development and qualification of critical materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate capital equipment and automation opportunities, including ROI and make-versus-buy analysis.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives, including supplier audits, evaluations, and performance scorecards.

  • Experience with machining operations is a plus.
  • Experience working with synthetic graphite or similar manufacturing materials is preferred.

Skills That Will Set You Apart

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and drive improvement initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with production operators, front-line managers, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments and teams.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
