  • Monitor key Product Control deliverables to ensure they are completed on time and within expected ranges.
  • Perform in-depth process reviews focused on quality, control, efficiency, and process design.
  • Identify errors, control gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across processes.
  • Track issues identified from oversight reviews and ensure remediation actions are followed through.

Process Improvement and Project Delivery

  • Drive process enhancements, remediation actions, and project implementation.
  • Support hands-on activities such as analysis, testing, solution design, risk identification, and process changes.
  • Help improve the control environment, quality of deliverables, and efficiency of Product Control processes.
  • Support the resolution of day-to-day process or reporting issues when required.
  • Assist in ad hoc analysis and business-critical initiatives as needed.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

  • Build strong partnerships with onshore and offshore Product Control teams.
  • Collaborate with business teams, senior management, finance teams, change management, operations, market risk, and other support functions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, responsiveness, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Controls and Risk Management

  • Maintain a strong control mindset across all processes and deliverables.
  • Continuously assess potential operational risks and identify ways to reduce them.
  • Challenge existing processes to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose.
  • Escalate issues in a timely manner, with clear explanations and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong experience in Product Control, Finance, Treasury, Markets, Risk, or related control functions.
  • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and VBA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify key business drivers, and recommend practical process improvements.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets products such as debt securities, money market instruments, FX swaps, interest rate swaps, and cross-currency swaps.
  • Understanding of valuation techniques, risk sensitivities, and P&L analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ownership in delivering high-quality recurring work.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CAIA, or equivalent.
  • Experience or understanding of Treasury business, including transfer pricing or IRRBB.
  • Knowledge of hedge accounting.
  • Experience managing projects or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with accounting controls for financial instruments.
  • Knowledge of fair value adjustments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
