The posting

The role

As Quant continues to grow, we are evolving our delivery management practices to support greater scalability, consistency and transparency across product and technology.

We are looking for a proactive and organised Junior Delivery Manager / Coordinator to join our Engineering organisation and support the effective delivery of technology initiatives across multiple Agile engineering squads.

The role combines hands-on Agile delivery coordination, stakeholder collaboration, risk and dependency management, and delivery reporting. The successful candidate will progressively take ownership of day-to-day delivery management activities across engineering squads, depending on experience, squad complexity and delivery needs.

You will also contribute to the development of a more structured and efficient delivery management function, supporting the adoption of common delivery standards, reporting frameworks and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities across assigned engineering squads
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives as required
  • Work with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to support effective backlog readiness, prioritisation and delivery planning
  • Monitor delivery progress, identify blockers and help teams resolve delivery challenges
  • Support realistic sprint goals, delivery forecasting and continuous improvement
  • Progressively develop independent ownership of assigned squad delivery

Planning, Risk and Dependency Management

  • Track delivery milestones, commitments and cross-team dependencies
  • Maintain visibility of squad-level risks, issues and blockers
  • Coordinate with engineering and product stakeholders to resolve delivery impediments
  • Escalate significant risks, decisions and dependencies to the Delivery Lead when appropriate
  • Support engineering capacity planning and resource visibility
  • Ensure delivery plans accurately reflect capacity, priorities and dependencies

Delivery Reporting and Governance

  • Maintain accurate delivery information in Jira and other agreed delivery management tools
  • Produce consistent sprint, milestone, risk and delivery status reports using established templates
  • Support the implementation of common delivery governance practices across engineering squads
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, concise and focused on meaningful delivery outcomes
  • Provide reliable delivery information to support cross-squad and portfolio-level oversight
  • Identify inconsistencies, gaps and opportunities to improve delivery visibility

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Develop effective working relationships with Engineering Leads, Product Owners, developers and relevant stakeholders
  • Facilitate clear communication of delivery progress, blockers and priorities
  • Support alignment between product requirements, technical implementation and delivery timelines
  • Promote transparency, accountability and constructive problem-solving
  • Support stakeholder reporting while maintaining effective team autonomy

Process Improvement and AI-Enabled Delivery

  • Adopt and apply established delivery management standards, processes and templates
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual coordination, repetitive reporting and administrative overhead
  • Support the implementation and adoption of AI-assisted delivery workflows and automation tools
  • Validate automated reporting outputs and ensure the accuracy of underlying delivery information
  • Provide feedback on delivery processes, tools and reporting frameworks
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the delivery management function

Required Skills and Experience

  • Practical experience in Agile software delivery, Scrum Master activities, delivery coordination or project management within a technology environment
  • Understanding of Agile principles, Scrum, Kanban and software development lifecycle practices
  • Experience working collaboratively with software engineering and product teams
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to organise multiple workstreams, track progress and coordinate dependencies
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain reliable delivery information
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges
  • Willingness to learn, take ownership and develop delivery management capabilities

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting multiple software engineering teams
  • Familiarity with APIs, microservices, software integration, cloud services or distributed systems
  • Experience in financial technology, financial services or payments
  • Understanding of CI/CD, software testing and release processes
  • Experience with reporting dashboards and workflow management tools
  • Interest in AI-assisted productivity, delivery automation and process optimisation
  • Experience improving delivery processes or reporting practices

Key Attributes

  • Ownership: Takes responsibility for assigned activities and follows through on commitments
  • Structured thinking: Can organise complex information into clear plans, actions and priorities
  • Collaboration: Builds effective relationships across Engineering and Product
  • Judgement: Knows when to act independently and when to escalate
  • Adaptability: Responds constructively to changing priorities, new information and evolving delivery needs, adjusting plans and approaches pragmatically
  • Comfort with ambiguity: Thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment where priorities, requirements and processes may not always be clearly defined; able to bring structure to ambiguity and maintain delivery momentum as circumstances change
  • Curiosity: Interested in technology, delivery practices and emerging tools
  • Continuous improvement: Looks for opportunities to make delivery simpler, more effective and scalable

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
