What You’ll Be Working On
Provide technical expertise to infrastructure, municipal and utility projects as Engineer of Record Provide leadership to the project team in the delivery of geotechnical engineering solutions Interface with clients on project requirements Lead or Support in the preparation and creation of detailed geotechnical designs, report, construction packages and estimates Mentor Junior Geotechnical and/or Civil Engineers for their professional development Participate as a member of multi-disciplinary projects Support in the pursuit of project opportunities Familiar with software such as DeepEX 3D, ReSSA, GeoStudio (slope/w, seep/w)
What We’re Looking For
A Geotechnical Engineer with 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, municipal and/or utility projects Someone who holds a University Degree in Geotechnical/Geological or Civil Engineering Openness to participate or lead Civil Engineering Projects a plus Able to work out of RAM's Vancouver or Calgary Office Registered as a P. Eng. with EGBC and/or APEGA Possesses knowledge in temporary excavation shoring design, slope stability assessments, retaining structures An active contributor to the Geotechnical Engineering Community in Western Canada An excellent communicator, project coordinator and team player Possesses a Class 5 Driver's License
Compensation & Benefits The estimated annual base salary for this position is $105,000 - $120,000 as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training. Please note that this range reflects base pay only and does not include the competitive bonus program or the comprehensive benefits package offered by RAM Consulting.
