leadership expectations
At Randstad, leadership is our shared language. Whether you are leading a team or driving your own career, you contribute to our goal of being the world's most equitable and specialized talent company. We lead across four core pillars:
1. we set direction: it is about anticipating and making decisions that will position randstad for long term success.
2. we achieve: it is about delivering on our goals and operational excellence.
3. we care: it is about the way we collaborate and work together, creating a sustainable and healthy culture.
4. lead by example: it is about modelling the behaviors and standards we expect from others, demonstrating courage and accountability in every action.
how you will contribute
Randstad Group Procurement has officially moved to a global Center of Excellence (CoE). Operating from our Budapest Global Capability Center (GCC), you will serve as a critical operational bridge following the divestment of a segment of our business to a strategic global buyer. In this role, you will lead the post-merger procurement integration and operationalize the Transition Services Agreement (TSA) across key service categories. You will guide the buyer's global teams through Randstad business practices, regulatory nuances and market norms, driving the execution, financial oversight and eventual exit strategy of the TSA. As a core member of the Contract Management team within the Procurement CoE, you will also flex your capacity (~30–40%) to manage core enterprise procurement contract lifecycle activities, supporting contract administration, supplier performance and commercial complianc
your responsibilities include
1. Transition Service Agreements
- TSA operationalization: Translate complex legal TSA schedules into granular, day-to-day operational workflows across cross-border services (e.g., invoice processing, IT ticket escalations, fleet car transfers).
- Buyer onboarding & advisory: Act as the primary procurement guide for the buyer, steering their global integration teams through Randstad procedures, regional regulatory nuances, data privacy and compliance norms
- Contract & service novation: Lead the migration, novation, renegotiation or exit of vendor contracts, ensuring seamless service continuity while protecting operations from commercial risk
- Financial & billing oversight: Track pass-through costs, markups, and cross-charges. Validate monthly invoices, reconcile billing discrepancies, and prevent cost leakage or uncompensated out-of-scope services
- Governance & exit management: Establish and join daily standups and weekly operational reviews. Track exit milestones and readiness checklists across HR, IT, Finance, and Procurement to ensure the buyer achieves standalone capability before TSA expiration
2. Procurement Contract Management
- Contract administration & drafting: Draft, review, redline, and process standard procurement contracts, NDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) within the enterprise CLM platform or assigned contracts
- Repository & milestone governance: Maintain contract database integrity, ensure audit readiness, and track key contractual milestones, auto-renewals, notice periods and price indexation clauses
- Team synergy: Support broader CoE contract management initiatives, category strategy execution and supplier risk assessments as operational demand allows
The focus of the role is the TSA management, so a typical day would include the following tasks:
1. Governance & operational setup
- Service schedule operationalization: translating broad legal TSA schedules into granular, day-to-day operational workflows (e.g., how invoices are processed, how IT tickets are escalated, how fleet cars are transferred
- Governance cadence: Establishing or join daily standups, weekly operational reviews and monthly executive steering committee meetings with both the buyer and seller teams
- KPI & SLA monitoring: tracking service performance against agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators to ensure baseline quality is maintained
2. Financial management & billing oversight
- Pass-through cost & fee tracking: ensuring all service fees, cross-charges, markups and pass-through vendor expenses are accurately calculated and invoiced according to the TSA schedules
- Billing reconciliation: validating monthly invoices between seller and buyer, managing disputes and resolving line-item discrepancies
- Cost leakage prevention: ensuring the seller is not delivering uncompensated out-of-scope services and that the buyer is not paying double for services already transitioned
3. Scope & change management
- Scope drift control: Monitoring service boundaries to ensure teams strictly adhere to agreed TSA schedules
- Change request process: managing formal requests for TSA extensions, scope expansions, early terminations or service parameter adjustments through strict commercial approvals
4. Risk, escalation & vendor management
- Escalation point: serving as the single point of contact for operational friction (e.g., delayed system access, missed service standards, vendor novation roadblocks)
- Vendor & contract separation (Procurement-focused): managing third-party vendors whose contracts support the TSA—overseeing contract assignments, renovations, split agreements or vendor exits
- Regulatory & compliance oversight: Enforcing data privacy, security and cross-border regulatory compliance during data and service handovers
5. Transition Exit & standalone readiness
- Exit milestone tracking: driving readiness checklists across functions (HR, IT, Finance, Procurement) to ensure the buyer builds standalone capability before TSA expiration dates
- Formal decommissioning & offboarding: managing the formal handoff, signing off on service completions, terminating billing codes, and revoking legacy system accesses
