Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Develop Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and other platform configurations.
  • Build workflows and automations using Flow Designer, Workflow, and IntegrationHub.
  • Develop and customize Service Catalog, Catalog Items, Record Producers, and Service Portal components.
  • Build integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and enterprise applications.
  • Implement and support ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
  • Work on additional ServiceNow modules such as CSM, HRSD, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and GRC.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and provide production support.
  • Manage technical design, development, testing, deployments, upgrades, and release activities.
  • Work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Explore and implement Now Assist / GenAI capabilities and platform enhancements.
  • Conduct code reviews, maintain technical documentation, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Exposure to additional modules such as ITOM or HRSD or CSM
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow server-side/client-side scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
  • Strong experience with Flow Designer, Workflow, Service Catalog, and automation.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow tables, data models, security, and platform configurations.
  • Knowledge of update sets, deployments, testing, upgrades, and release management.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Now Assist / GenAI capabilities and enterprise application integrations.
  • ServiceNow CSA certification preferred; CAD certification is an added advantage. CIS certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and technical ownership skills.
  • Ability to independently manage development tasks and mentor junior developers.
