Job Summary: The Sr. Analyst, Procurement will support strategic sourcing, supplier management, spend analytics, and cost optimization for Popeyes kitchen equipment category, including fryers, hot holding, refrigeration, smallwares, and OEM-supplied capital equipment tied to new builds and remodels. This role develops financial analyses and business cases, supports sourcing initiatives, assesses supply and supplier risk (single-source exposure, tariff impact, lead-time volatility), and coordinates with cross-functional teams to protect equipment availability, cost, and quality across the Popeyes system.

The Sr. Analyst will work closely with Procurement, Development/Construction, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, franchisees, and OEM/kitchen equipment suppliers. This role requires comfort with data, managing multiple concurrent sourcing threads, and translating analysis into recommendations that hold up under franchisee and leadership scrutiny.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support development and execution of sourcing strategies for Popeyes equipment categories: fryers, hot holding, refrigeration, smallwares, and related capex equipment.
  • Analyze spend, pricing, market conditions, OEM capabilities, and total cost of ownership to identify savings and value-creation opportunities.
  • Build financial models, cost comparisons, business cases, and scenario analyses to evaluate supplier proposals, RFP responses, and capex sourcing decisions.
  • Assess supply continuity and business risk: shortages, capacity constraints, long lead times, backorders, tariff/duty exposure (including Section 232/301 and Canadian counter-tariff impact where relevant), price volatility, and OEM concentration.
  • Support identification, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of equipment OEMs and their distributor/service networks.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations, RFPs, RFQs, and other competitive sourcing activities for equipment categories.
  • Track OEM/supplier performance against cost, service, quality, warranty, and delivery commitments; recommend corrective action where performance lags.
  • Partner with Development/Construction on equipment specs, lead times, and delivery sequencing for new builds and remodel projects (Procore-tracked).
  • Serve as a point of contact for assigned OEMs and internal stakeholders on issues affecting restaurant operations or franchisee equipment needs.
  • Monitor commodity, steel/stainless input costs, freight, and tariff-driven cost changes; communicate business impact to category leads.
  • Support item setup, item changes, and item delisting in Workday and Approved Equipment List
  • Maintain procurement documentation, analysis, and reporting for the equipment category.
  • Contribute to responsible sourcing, supplier diversity, and continuous-improvement initiatives as applicable.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, finance, or analytics; equipment/capital goods category experience a plus.
  • Experience building financial models, cost analyses, business cases, or supplier comparisons.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into recommendations that survive franchisee and leadership review.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sourcing threads in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with category management, OEM/supplier negotiations, competitive bidding, or contract-related processes preferred.
  • Experience in quick service restaurants, foodservice equipment/OEM manufacturing, or a related industry preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; data visualization experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
