Bij RCT Stevedoring draait logistiek om meer dan goederen verplaatsen. Vanuit onze terminal langs het Zeekanaal Antwerpen-Brussel in Willebroek verzorgen we de op- en overslag van staal, aluminium, hout en bulkgoederen. Al meer dan 20 jaar vertrouwen nationale en internationale klanten op onze expertise.Die sterke positie willen we verder uitbouwen. Daarom zoeken we een Business Developer die commerciële kansen herkent, nieuwe klanten overtuigt en duurzame samenwerkingen ontwikkelt.Waar maak je het verschil? Commerciële strategie en marktontwikkeling

  • Interessante marktsegmenten en potentiële klanten identificeren.
  • Gerichte salesplannen ontwikkelen en prospecten actief benaderen.
  • Markttrends en concurrentie analyseren om nieuwe opportuniteiten te ontdekken.

Van eerste contact tot sterke samenwerking

  • Relaties opbouwen en versterken met nationale en internationale klanten.
  • Prospecten actief bezoeken, zowel in België als daarbuiten, afhankelijk van de commerciële opportuniteiten.
  • Klantbehoeften vertalen naar passende logistieke oplossingen.
  • Commerciële gesprekken en contractonderhandelingen voeren.
  • Complexe verkooptrajecten succesvol afronden en omzetgroei realiseren.

Commerciële resultaten versterken

  • Nauw samenwerken met interne teams en externe partners om commerciële afspraken waar te maken.
  • Salesopportuniteiten en lopende trajecten gestructureerd opvolgen.
  • KPI's en resultaten analyseren om de aanpak verder te verbeteren.
  • Rapporteren aan de General Manager.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?Nieuwe contacten leggen geeft je energie. Een eerste gesprek zie je als het begin van een mogelijke samenwerking. Daarbij combineer je commerciële gedrevenheid met een professionele, integere aanpak.Ook herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • Minstens enkele jaren ervaring in B2B-sales of business development, bij voorkeur binnen de logistieke sector.
  • Een uitgesproken hunter-mentaliteit en de ambitie om nieuwe business te ontwikkelen.
  • Sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden en het vermogen om deals succesvol af te ronden.
  • Een strategische blik, gecombineerd met een hands-on mentaliteit.
  • Een gestructureerde werkwijze en ervaring met pipeline management en rapportering.
  • Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels. Kennis van Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Een ondernemende ingesteldheid, waarbij resultaat en langetermijnrelaties hand in hand gaan.
  • Reizen schrikt je niet af. Afhankelijk van je prospectieactiviteiten en de markten die je ontwikkelt, ben je bereid om je te verplaatsen.
