The posting

We’re not just looking for a manager. We’re looking for someone who makes people feel at home.

At Senna House Scottsdale, hospitality is personal. We believe the best guest experiences start with a team that genuinely enjoys coming to work, cares about one another, and takes pride in making people feel welcome.

We are a close-knit, energetic, and personable team that values strong communication, collaboration, and a little fun along the way. We celebrate each other's wins, support one another through challenges, and believe that the way we treat our team is just as important as the way we treat our guests.

Now, we're looking for a Front Office Manager who shares that same philosophy and is excited to help carry our culture forward.

The kind of leader we're looking for:

We want someone who leads with personality, heart, and intention. Someone who understands that great hospitality isn't always about grand gestures. Sometimes it's remembering a guest's name, noticing the little details, celebrating a team member's accomplishment, or finding a creative way to turn an ordinary interaction into a memorable moment.

You're someone who naturally connects with people. You bring positive energy into a room, communicate openly, build genuine relationships, and understand that a strong team culture doesn't happen by accident. It is built every day through trust, consistency, encouragement, and leading by example.

You'll have the opportunity to shape not only the guest experience but also the experience of the team you lead. We want someone who gets excited about creating meaningful moments, developing their people, celebrating successes, and building an environment where employees genuinely look forward to coming to work.

If you believe hospitality should feel genuine rather than scripted, leadership should inspire rather than intimidate, and a great team should feel like a family, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

What you'll be responsible for:

Leading a team that loves what they do

  • Foster a positive, welcoming, and collaborative environment where team members feel valued, supported, and motivated.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating warmth, professionalism, accountability, and genuine care in every interaction.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and encourage open, respectful communication across shifts and departments.
  • Recognize individual contributions, celebrate team accomplishments, and create opportunities for connection and engagement.
  • Coach and develop team members, helping them grow professionally while holding the team accountable to high standards.

Creating memorable guest experiences

  • Champion a personalized approach to hospitality that makes every guest feel recognized, welcomed, and appreciated.
  • Empower the team to create thoughtful surprises, meaningful connections, and memorable moments throughout the guest journey.
  • Bring personality and authenticity to guest interactions while maintaining the elevated service standards expected of a boutique lifestyle hotel.
  • Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns with empathy, and turn challenges into opportunities to build loyalty.
  • Encourage creativity and ownership, allowing team members to bring their own personalities to the guest experience.

Driving front office operations

  • Oversee daily Front Office operations, ensuring smooth arrivals, departures, room assignments, guest requests, and shift transitions.
  • Maintain strong communication between the Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
  • Monitor guest feedback, service recovery, loyalty enrollment, and quality assurance standards.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, payroll-related responsibilities, training, and departmental performance.
  • Ensure hotel policies, procedures, brand standards, and safety expectations are consistently followed.
  • Support operational planning, reporting, and continuous improvement while balancing efficiency with personalized service.

What makes you a great fit?

  • You have previous hotel Front Office leadership experience.
  • You genuinely enjoy working with people and building relationships, not just managing tasks.
  • You are approachable, personable, positive, and comfortable bringing your personality to work.
  • You believe accountability and kindness can coexist, and you know how to lead difficult conversations with fairness and respect.
  • You communicate exceptionally well and understand the importance of keeping your team informed, connected, and aligned.
  • You are organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • You enjoy developing others, recognizing talent, and helping people reach their potential.
  • You are creative and resourceful, always looking for ways to elevate the guest experience and strengthen team culture.
  • You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and lead with consistency.
  • You understand that culture is demonstrated through everyday actions, not just words on a wall.

Hotel experience is important, but the way you lead, connect with people, and build a team matters just as much.

What you can expect from us:

We believe a great workplace starts with great people. At Senna House, you'll join a team that values collaboration, celebrates individuality, and believes work should be a place where you feel connected to the people around you.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Make a meaningful impact on both our team culture and guest experience.
  • Bring your ideas to the table and help create new traditions, experiences, and ways of working.
  • Develop your leadership skills while supporting the growth of others.
  • Work alongside a team that values communication, teamwork, and genuine relationships.
  • Help shape the next chapter of our Front Office team and create an environment where people are proud to work.

A little about Senna House:

Senna House Scottsdale is a boutique lifestyle hotel where thoughtful details, distinctive personality, and personalized hospitality come together. We believe luxury is not only about the space someone stays in, but also about how they feel while they're here.

We want our guests to leave feeling like they experienced something special, and we want our team members to feel that same sense of connection and belonging at work.

Ready to make an impact?

If you're a hospitality leader who believes that great teams create great experiences, that personality belongs in luxury hospitality, and that the best memories are made through genuine human connection, we'd love to meet you.

Come help us create a workplace people love being part of and guest experiences people love coming back for.

We look forward to meeting you!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
