The posting

We are a European energy technology company focused on advancing energy storage through innovative software and system design. Our mission is to develop safer, smarter and more sustainable alternatives for modern energy infrastructure. We are focused on transforming energy storage through advanced software, AI, and innovative battery technologies. Our solutions aim to deliver safer, more sustainable, and cost-effective alternatives to traditional systems.

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the development of a new energy storage product platform.

In this role, you will focus on electrical design and documentation for modular Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. You will work particularly with EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel and have the opportunity to take increasing ownership of the electrical design as the product platform develops.

This is a hands-on product development role where you will work closely with other engineering disciplines and external partners, supporting the journey from early designs and pilot builds to standardized commercial products.

What You’ll Do

  • Design electrical systems and documentation for modular energy storage solutions
  • Develop electrical schematics, layouts and related technical documentation using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel
  • Build and maintain reusable EPLAN structures, components, macros and documentation
  • Work with low-voltage power distribution, protection, control wiring and auxiliary systems
  • Support the development of standardized and configurable product solutions
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software and system engineering teams
  • Work with suppliers, manufacturing partners and other technical stakeholders
  • Support prototype and pilot builds, testing and commissioning
  • Contribute to technical documentation, product compliance and certification activities
  • Continuously improve electrical designs based on testing, manufacturing and field feedback

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Engineering or a related field
  • Strong practical experience with EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel
  • Experience creating and developing EPLAN structures rather than only working with existing templates
  • Good understanding of electrical distribution, protection, switchgear and control systems
  • Experience with energy storage, DC systems, power electronics, drives, UPS systems or similar technologies is considered an advantage
  • Understanding of relevant electrical standards and technical documentation
  • Practical and hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving
  • Ability and motivation to take increasing ownership of a technical area
  • Comfortable working in a growing and evolving technology environment
  • Fluent English and Finnish are required

Why Join Us

  • Opportunity to contribute to a new energy storage product platform from an early stage
  • Take ownership of electrical design and help shape how products are designed and documented
  • Work on technology supporting the transition toward smarter and more sustainable energy infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with experts across electrical engineering, software, mechanical design and energy systems
  • Join a growing technology company operating in the European energy market

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
