The posting

Revivery, located in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a highly motivated and professional Sauna and Cold Plunge Instructor (“Lead”) to join our team. You will lead group classes in sauna and cold plunge using our proprietary methodology, becoming an integral part of our Members’ experience. The position is part time with the potential to move into full time, and compensation is competitive.

About Revivery:

Using sauna, cold plunge, conversation, breathwork, and meditation, our thriving studio conducts instructor-led group classes to build our Members’ physical, mental, and emotional wellness. Our focus is on excellence throughout the Member experience. Our Staff is small, deeply committed, and passionate about making an impact on the world. We are seeking a teammate who is knowledgeable in instruction and leadership and who feels called to make a difference for Members of all backgrounds, ages, and needs — from the most deconditioned to the most athletic.

About You:

  • You are an accomplished professional in the health and wellness industry
  • You are intrinsically motivated to help others, and get genuine satisfaction from acts of service
  • You have deep knowledge of group training, including class logistics, energy level management, and training multiple members with varying needs
  • You have strong experience teaching holistic methods of fitness, integrating physical, mental, and emotional/spiritual training
  • You are excellent at communicating with empathy and understanding
  • You are able to work with Members in both one-on-one and small group settings
  • You are a strong facilitator, and have the maturity to avoid making it “about you”
  • Your demeanor is empathetic, friendly, and positive with highly-developed emotional intelligence
  • You are able to motivate Members and keep them accountable
  • You are willing and able to assist with member relations, including speaking with current and prospective Members and handling daily administration in our member management platform

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working with members in a group setting
  • 1-2 years working with members in a one-on-one setting
  • Current certification(s) from nationally-accredited fitness/wellness training organization
  • Current CPR and AED certification
