Job description

We’re looking for a Data Product Manager who refuses to accept “that’s how we’ve always done it.”

You will thrive in ambiguity, relentlessly pursue outcomes, and turn complex data into products that customers love and the business values. You are commercially minded, technically curious, and obsessed with solving real customer problems.

This is not a delivery coordination role. This is a strategic product leadership role responsible for shaping, building and growing commercially successful data products that leverage Reward’s unique transaction, merchant and customer data assets.

Working closely with Data and Software Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, BI, Commercial teams / Consumer Insights, you will define the product strategy, validate customer needs and deliver data products that create measurable business value across banking, retail, loyalty and finance media.

What You Will Bring

Essential

  • Experience managing data, analytics or AI products throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Strong product management capability across discovery, prioritisation, roadmap development and product delivery
  • Experience working in Agile product teams
  • Experience balancing customer needs with commercial outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience defining product KPIs, OKRs and success metrics
  • Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills
  • Experience building business cases and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Tenacity, resilience and the ability to drive outcomes in complex environments

Desirable

  • Experience working with payments, merchant or customer data
  • Experience building customer intelligence, analytics or commercial data products
  • Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and tooling
  • Experience working with AI, machine learning or advanced analytics products
  • Experience with APIs, experimentation, product analytics and A/B testing
  • Experience within financial services, banking, retail, loyalty, commerce media or digital advertising.
  • Act as the voice of the customer (internal and external) throughout the product lifecycle
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of a portfolio of data products, from discovery and development through to launch, adoption, optimisation and retirement
  • Define product vision, strategy and roadmaps aligned with customer needs and commercial priorities
  • Identify opportunities to commercialise transaction, merchant and customer data into scalable data products
  • Work closely with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, BI and Commercial teams to deliver high-impact products
  • Lead discovery, validate assumptions quickly and champion experimentation and rapid learning
  • Champion modern product management practices and help embed a product-led culture across the organisation
  • Continuously improve existing ad hoc initiatives by identifying opportunities to scale, or retire low-value capabilities

Job benefits

  • Annual Leave: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Ability to buy and sell holiday days as well as the ability to bank days (tenure dependant)
  • Flexible working options: we are operating a hybrid working model with 3 days a week from the office
  • Pension: Hargreaves Lansdown up to 6% matched contribution
  • Generous family friendly cover
  • Private healthcare - Bupa
  • Income protection
  • Critical illness cover
  • Life insurance cover
  • Dental cover
  • Optical cover
  • Yulife app for access to employee wellbeing and discounts
  • Perks at Work, cashback/discount shopping site
  • Employee referral scheme
  • Salary sacrifice program which includes cycle to work scheme, electric car scheme and season ticket loans
  • Volunteering program
  • Company events i.e. Christmas party, all-company event and other social/hosted events during the year (we have an active social committee!)
  • Team socials

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

The numbers game

More applications. More interviews.

Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting and paid once. Send enough of them and the law of large numbers finds you the job.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once per CV, from $25. Every application goes out with its own CV, written for that posting.
