Digital Marketing Manager

Company: ReWorks Solutions Department: Marketing Role Type: Full-Time Location: Remote /South Africa Remuneration: R50 000 - R65 000 neg depending on experience.

About ReWorks Solutions

ReWorks Solutions connects businesses with exceptional remote talent, helping companies build effective teams through recruitment, staffing and outsourcing solutions.

We believe successful recruitment goes beyond filling vacancies. It is about building relationships, understanding people and creating meaningful connections between businesses and talent.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially minded, strategic and hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to take ownership of our digital marketing strategy, strengthen our brand presence and drive measurable business growth.

This role goes beyond traditional social media management. We need someone who understands how to use digital marketing to attract quality candidates, generate new business leads, increase brand visibility and support recruitment delivery.

You will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, managing our online presence, overseeing marketing collateral and identifying new opportunities to grow our digital footprint.

A key part of the role will involve working closely with our recruitment, sourcing and business development teams to understand business priorities and translate them into effective marketing initiatives.

You will also manage and guide a Social Media Coordinator, balancing strategic direction with hands-on execution.

Ideally, you will have experience within recruitment, staffing, BPO, outsourcing or professional services, where marketing plays an important role in attracting talent and generating business opportunities.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Lead Generation

  • Develop and execute a digital marketing strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Plan and manage paid and organic marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and Google.
  • Drive candidate attraction and generate quality applications for active recruitment requirements.
  • Develop digital initiatives to attract potential clients and generate qualified business leads.
  • Identify new marketing channels and opportunities to improve reach and conversions.
  • Monitor campaign performance, lead quality, conversion rates and marketing ROI.

2. Recruitment Marketing & Candidate Attraction

  • Collaborate with recruitment and sourcing teams to understand hiring priorities and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Develop targeted campaigns to attract specific candidate profiles and skill sets.
  • Create engaging recruitment content, email campaigns, candidate mailers and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Strengthen ReWorks' employer brand and position the business as an attractive opportunity for candidates.
  • Develop ongoing talent attraction strategies rather than relying solely on individual job advertisements.
  • Track candidate engagement and campaign-to-application conversion rates.

3. Social Media & LinkedIn Management

  • Own the company's social media strategy, content direction and campaign planning.
  • Grow and strengthen ReWorks' LinkedIn presence for both candidate attraction and client engagement.
  • Manage content calendars, social media campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Monitor audience growth, engagement, reach and lead generation.
  • Ensure consistent, relevant and professional content across all platforms.
  • Guide the Social Media Coordinator on content creation, priorities and execution.

4. Website, SEO & Digital Presence

  • Oversee website content, updates and ongoing optimisation.
  • Improve website visibility through SEO and relevant digital marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure the website effectively communicates ReWorks' services and value proposition.
  • Identify opportunities to improve website traffic, user experience and conversion rates.
  • Coordinate with external developers or technical partners when required.
  • Develop landing pages and digital content to support marketing campaigns.

5. Brand Management & Marketing Collateral

  • Maintain brand consistency across all digital and corporate communications.
  • Develop and oversee marketing collateral, including company presentations, service brochures and promotional materials.
  • Manage newsletters, email templates, candidate communications and client-facing marketing materials.
  • Ensure all content reflects the company's brand identity and professional standards.
  • Support internal marketing initiatives, company announcements and communication campaigns.

6. Campaign Management, Analytics & Innovation

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Manage campaign messaging, audience targeting, budgets and delivery timelines.
  • Analyse marketing data and prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and marketing efficiency.
  • Explore AI tools, marketing automation and emerging technologies to streamline workflows.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership, recruitment, sourcing and business development teams.

7. Team Leadership

  • Directly manage and support a Social Media Coordinator.
  • Set clear objectives, priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Oversee content quality, campaign execution and deadlines.
  • Provide guidance, coaching and ongoing development.
  • Balance team leadership with hands-on marketing responsibilities.

Minimum Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, marketing management or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and/or Google.
  • Strong understanding of digital lead generation, audience targeting and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience with social media strategy, content marketing and brand development.
  • Knowledge of email marketing, CRM campaigns and marketing automation.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, website optimisation and digital analytics.
  • Strong copywriting, content development and communication skills.
  • Experience developing marketing collateral and managing brand consistency.
  • Ability to analyse campaign data, interpret performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing projects, deadlines and multiple marketing priorities.
  • Previous experience supervising, mentoring or managing a junior team member.

Highly Advantageous Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following environments will be particularly interesting:

  • Recruitment or staffing agencies.
  • BPO or outsourcing businesses.
  • Talent acquisition and recruitment marketing.
  • HR and workforce solutions.
  • Professional services or other service-based businesses.

Experience running high-volume recruitment campaigns, building talent communities, attracting niche talent or generating B2B leads will be a significant advantage.

Key Performance Areas

Performance will be measured against agreed targets in the following areas:

  • Candidate Attraction: Quality applications, cost per qualified applicant and candidate conversion rates.
  • Lead Generation: Qualified client enquiries and leads generated through digital channels.
  • Digital Campaigns: Campaign performance, engagement, conversions and marketing ROI.
  • Social Media: Audience growth, brand visibility, engagement and lead generation.
  • Website & SEO: Website traffic quality, search visibility and conversion improvements.
  • Brand Management: Quality, consistency and accuracy of marketing materials.
  • Marketing Delivery: Timely execution of campaigns, mailers, presentations and marketing requests.
  • Team Leadership: Social Media Coordinator performance, development and delivery standards.

Specific performance targets will be established based on business priorities, marketing budgets and existing performance benchmarks.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Strategic, creative and commercially minded.
  • Equally comfortable developing a marketing strategy and executing it themselves.
  • Results-driven, analytical and comfortable working with marketing data.
  • Proactive, organised and able to take ownership of projects.
  • Confident in identifying opportunities and recommending new marketing initiatives.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • A strong communicator who can collaborate across different departments.
  • Comfortable leading a small team while remaining hands-on.
  • Passionate about digital marketing, technology, innovation and continuous improvement.

The bottom line: We need a Digital Marketing Manager who can turn marketing activity into measurable results — someone who can help ReWorks attract better talent, generate stronger business opportunities and build a recognisable brand in the recruitment and outsourcing market.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
