The posting

Contribute to implementing a new Primary Health Care operating model, starting with our Dental Service and shaping future services across regional and remote WA. Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering outreach care to communities across the state who'd otherwise go without. Real breadth: workforce leadership, budget management, stakeholder relationships and oversight of safety, quality and performance all in one role. Permanent, full-time role based at Jandakot, with hybrid flexibility and free onsite parking.

About the team RFDS WA delivers medical, dental, mental health and other community health services across regional and remote WA through outreach clinics, visiting services, fixed-site medical centres and community-based programs. This role leads one of two Operations Manager positions in the team, with an initial focus on the Dental Service, deploying Dentists and Dental Assistants to regional and remote communities for one-to-two-week rotations (FIFO and DIDO) while the broader service model continues to evolve toward an integrated, multidisciplinary, geographically based structure. About the role

Provide operational leadership and line management to a support team and casual pool of dentists and dental assistants, owning rostering, logistics and site-based relationships with Host facilities. Lead accreditation readiness, compliance and quality improvement in a highly regulated environment, working closely with Clinical Leads on governance and clinical escalations. Build the operating model and stakeholder relationships, internally and with government, ACCHOs and community partners, that strengthen access, equity and outcomes for underserved communities.

About you

Experience managing logistics, rostering and people for a remote or dispersed workforce. Comfortable operating in a highly regulated, accredited healthcare environment, with a working understanding of compliance requirements. Experience with electronic medical record systems such as Best Practice or Dental4Web is an advantage. Clinical background advantageous but not essential. Tertiary qualification in Health Management, Business, Public Health, Nursing, Allied Health or a related field, or equivalent experience in operational leadership within health, community or human services.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
