RFDS Goldfields Health Centre (GHC), a subsidiary of RFDS WA, is seeking experienced VR GPs to join our established and growing primary healthcare service in Kalgoorlie.
Fees from 20%, with establishment incentives for up to eight weeks Consult during surgery hours, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no after-hours, retrieval or hospital work Residential or visiting FIFO/DIDO, with self-funded or RFDS-supported housing, vehicle and travel An established patient base and strong local demand
About the team Goldfields Health Centre (GHC) is a subsidiary of RFDS WA, established to improve access to primary healthcare across the Goldfields. The practice has GPs, a practice nurse, reception and practice management, with visiting specialists and allied health alongside. Demand for GP services is high. About the role
Provide broad-scope general practice, including chronic disease, preventive, occupational, paediatric, women's and Aboriginal health, to local families, Aboriginal communities and mining and resources workers Consult residentially or in visiting blocks of two weeks or more Help shape the future of general practice in the Goldfields as one of the first GPs consulting at GHC under the new model
About you
FRACGP or FACRRM, with current full AHPRA registration free of conditions, undertakings or notations At least three years' post-fellowship experience [confirm against PD] Current professional indemnity insurance Current BLS, with ALS, APLS or REACT desirable Rural, remote, Aboriginal or occupational health experience desirable
