Key purpose

The purpose of this role is multi-faceted and requires a dynamic individual with deep understanding of strategic business planning to manage the development and execution of our advisory services strategy. This role will be instrumental to identify critical opportunities for growth and development of service offerings, build relationships with clients, supervise and manage a team of consultants while overseeing project delivery.

  • Define the strategy and business plans for the advisory service line offerings.
  • Deliver advisory service offerings and sub-service offerings.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Build a pipeline of advisory opportunities.
  • Leverage existing network of clients and build new relationships within the target market.
  • Recruit and manage a team of consultancy professionals.
  • Supervise the performance of reporting staff, providing clear direction and monitoring.
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of advisory projects.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts demonstrating strong account management practices.
  • Accurately assess the required level of effort for a task/project and manage activities/tasks to meet objectives.

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications

As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering strategic asset management solutions for asset-intensive organizations across the Middle East. Based in Riyadh, you will lead high-impact engagements that integrate financial, operational, and technical dimensions of asset lifecycle management, while mentoring teams and building trusted client relationships. You will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of comprehensive asset management frameworks, advising C-level stakeholders, and overseeing transformation programs that enhance asset performance, optimize lifecycle costs, and align with regulatory and strategic objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale, multi-disciplinary asset lifecycle transformation programs, ensuring alignment with client strategy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating complex operational challenges into actionable asset management strategies.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide asset management systems, including policies, governance models, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
  • Oversee the development of asset investment planning models (CapEx, OpEx, TotEx), lifecycle cost optimization, and asset rationalization strategies.
  • Direct maturity assessments and benchmarking exercises using ISO 55001, EXPRO AFM, and other global standards.
  • Guide the implementation of digital asset management solutions (e.g., CMMS, EAM platforms), ensuring integration with broader business systems.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in conducting business process reviews across planning, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in asset management, contributing to +impacts knowledge base and client offerings.
  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level consultants, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting career growth.
  • Collaborate with +impact leadership to drive business development, proposal creation, and client relationship management.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven experience leading asset management consulting engagements in the Middle East, particularly in KSA.
  • Deep understanding of asset lifecycle frameworks, ISO 55001, and EXPRO AFM implementation.
  • Expertise in asset performance analytics, criticality assessments, failure mode analysis, and lifecycle financial modeling.
  • Strong background in digital transformation of asset management, including CMMS/EAM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change in complex environments.
  • Executive presence with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple workstreams in high-pressure environments.
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a track record of delivering results.
  • Experience in digital solutions for asset management such as Asset Investment Planning AIP and Computerized Maintenace and Management System CMMS.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Business, or related fields.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as IAM Diploma, ISO 55001 Lead Auditor, CAMA, or SMRP are highly preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in asset management consulting or advisory, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Additional / special features of the role

Exceptional candidate with previous knowledge of a Management Consultant role, ideally with experience at a prominent Big Four Consultancy, Global strategy houses, or reputable international management consultancies in the Middle East region.
