Construction Manager (E&M)

Overview: Lead E&M installation for treatment plants, focusing on pumps/SCADA in sewage contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee supply/install: electrical/mech systems, commissioning.
  • NEC issue resolution; energy-efficient integration.
  • Coordinate with civil/process; safety audits/handover.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MHKIE (Elec/Mech or equiv.).
  • 7 years post-qual in E&M contracts.
  • 5 years as main contractor CM/Site Agent/PM in sewage E&M.
  • 1 year NEC or training.

Desirable (Full-Score Bonus):

  • 11 years post-qual in main contractor E&M for municipal facilities.

Reporting & Location: Reports to Project Manager; site-focused (NT).

The Project One of the highest-profile upcoming municipal wastewater Design-Build-Operate contracts in Hong Kong (NEC4 ECC, 15+ year horizon). A flagship sustainability initiative in the Northern New Territories supporting the Northern Metropolis vision.

The Client A Top-10 global contractor (Fortune Global 500 parent) and one of the most active international players in Hong Kong infrastructure. Long track record of delivering complex EPC and DBO projects locally (airports, caverns, water & wastewater schemes) with a strong focus on sustainability and NEC collaboration.
